Story

Last Friday, Jane went on a school trip with her class. She got up at six oclock because the bus left early. She washed her face, brushed her teeth, and put on comfortable clothes.

Jane ate bread with cheese and drank a glass of milk for breakfast. Her brother Tom did not go on the trip, so he stayed at home with their father. At half past seven, Jane left the house and walked to school.

The class took the bus to a museum in Amsterdam. On the bus, Jane sat next to her friend Anna. They talked, laughed, and looked out of the window. The journey took about one hour.

At the museum, the teacher showed the students many old paintings. Jane liked a big painting of a ship because it looked very real. After the museum visit, the class ate lunch in a park. Jane shared her sandwiches with Anna.

In the afternoon, the students walked through the city centre and bought small postcards. Jane bought one postcard for her mother. At four oclock, the class returned to school. Jane went home tired but happy, and in the evening she told her family about the trip.
