Jane is twelve years old. She lives in a small town with her parents and her brother. Every morning, she gets up at seven o'clock. She washes her face, brushes her teeth, and puts on her school uniform.

Jane usually eats bread with cheese and drinks a glass of milk for breakfast. Her brother Tom does not like milk, so he drinks orange juice. At half past seven, they leave the house together.

Jane walks to school because it is near her home. Tom takes the bus because his school is farther away. Jane starts school at eight o'clock. She studies English, maths, history, and science. She likes English because her teacher tells interesting stories.

At lunchtime, Jane sits with her friends in the school garden. They talk, laugh, and sometimes play games. After school, Jane goes home and does her homework. In the evening, she reads a book or watches a little television. She goes to bed at nine o'clock.
