It was Wednesday afternoon, and Jane was sitting in her classroom. She was working on an English project with her friends. The teacher was walking around the room and was helping the students with their sentences.

Jane was writing a short story in her notebook. Her friend Lily was drawing a picture for the project. Tom was sitting near the window, but he was not writing. He was looking outside because some children were playing football in the playground.

At the front of the classroom, two students were giving a presentation. They were speaking slowly, and the class was listening carefully. The teacher was smiling because everyone was trying hard. Jane was asking a question about one of the pictures.

After the lesson, the students were cleaning their desks. Jane was putting her books into her bag, and Lily was closing the windows. Tom was talking to the teacher because he was asking for extra homework. Outside, the sun was shining, and the students were getting ready to go home.
